Dear all,

As a result of a recent Latvian Golf Federation meetings, future events at Saliena will now count equally for LGF ranking points as other Open event played in Latvia. The following points will be awarded for each event (points are determined by the tournament stature):

Major event: 600 Points (Saliena Open)
Open event: 400 Points (all Open events, including Saliena monthly stableford and stroke play)
Open events that clash with Majors played at other course: 300 Points
All ranking points per event can be found in the regulations of each event on Saliena tournament page.

N.B. For visitors playing in Saliena Open events the entry fee and green fee will not exceed the price of a normal Green Fee. (i.e. weekend rate 28Lats will include the entry fee).

Dear members and members Guests,

Saliena Golf Club Captain invites all golfers to take part in his “roll-up” on Fridays at 16:00 throughout the summer season. Formats for each Friday will be decided on the day with fun as a priority!! and 2 person teams if and when possible. Entry fee is 5 lvl per person and the winning team are obligated to buy the first round of drinks.
